Kindling Apps ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Tally mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Habit Data: The habits you create, completion records, and associated settings (reminders, categories, tags) are stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. This data is associated with your account for access control but is not transmitted to our servers.
Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Tally Pro, payment processing is handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).
Your habit data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted database (SQLCipher with AES-256). Encryption keys are managed by the Android Keystore system and never leave your device. If you enable biometric lock, authentication is bound to a hardware-backed cryptographic key.
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Your data is stored on your device for as long as you use the App. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. When you delete your account, your Firebase authentication record and all local data are permanently removed.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
